Draft: these policies are working drafts for review and do not constitute legal advice. They must be reviewed by a qualified adviser before launch.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Makr3D as a seller. Please read them alongside our Acceptable Use, IP & Takedown, Privacy and Returns policies.

Status: Draft, under review ahead of launch. Not legal advice.

1. Who we are

Makr3D is a 3D-print fulfilment platform operated by Yorkshire3D Limited (“Makr3D”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. Our production hub is in Huddersfield, UK, and is powered by Yorkshire3D’s Bambu print farm. Yorkshire3D Limited is VAT registered.

Registered company number, registered office and VAT number: 15466679, 53 Woodlea Avenue, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD3 4EF, United Kingdom, GB444532404. Contact for legal notices: [email protected].

2. What Makr3D does

Makr3D lets sellers (creators, designers, Etsy/Shopify sellers, dropsellers, brands and bulk buyers) have 3D-printed products manufactured, quality-checked, packed and shipped from our UK production hub. We provide the fulfilment layer; you keep your own customer relationship and brand.

We are not a marketplace and not the seller of record. You sell to your own customers under your own brand, and you collect payment from them. We bill you for fulfilment and shipping (see section 6).

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account and onboarding details and keep them up to date. Seller accounts are auto-approved at signup, but this is not an approval of any specific product or order. We may throttle, pause, suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or legal/safety reasons.

4. Products, quotes and review

Every new product is manually reviewed and approved before it can be ordered, even where an automatic quote succeeds. Quotes (including fulfilment cost, materials, colours, nozzle and the dispatch estimate) are estimates based on the information and files you supply and the stock and queue at the time. We may re-quote or hold an order if a file or order differs materially from what was approved.

For seller-supplied Bambu/Orca 3MF files we operate Faithful 3MF Mode by default, attempting to honour your slice settings, plates, supports, orientation and colour intent, subject to a human safety review. Where you have no suitable 3MF, or ask us to optimise, we use validated Makr3D farm profiles (Recommended Mode).

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and our IP & Takedown Policy. Prohibited and restricted content, and your rights warranties and indemnity, are set out in those policies and form part of these terms.

5. Licence to manufacture

You retain ownership of your designs and files. You grant Makr3D a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your files solely to manufacture and fulfil the orders you place. Where you mark a file as confidential, additional restrictions apply (no catalogue use, no reuse). We do not sell or sub-license your files. File retention and deletion are covered in our Privacy Policy.

6. Pricing, billing and VAT

There is no subscription fee at launch. You pay a per-product fulfilment charge plus shipping priced from our rate tables. A minimum fulfilment charge applies per dropship order before postage (illustratively £2.95 at the time of writing; configurable and subject to change). Bulk pricing tiers are available.

By saving a payment card you authorise Makr3D to automatically charge it for imported and created orders. Production starts after a successful charge or approval. If a charge fails we may pause the affected order and contact you. Prices are shown ex-VAT prominently, with VAT added where applicable; invoices are VAT-compliant.

7. Fulfilment modes and shipping

Orders are fulfilled either as dropship (we ship white-label directly to your customer) or bulk self-fulfilment (we ship a batch to you to finish and dispatch yourself). Dispatch estimates are production estimates driven by material, nozzle, stock and queue; they are not guaranteed delivery dates. International shipping is available, and you are responsible for the accuracy of destination details. Customs, duties and import charges may apply depending on destination.

8. Delivery disputes, returns and remakes

Makr3D is the shipper of record and handles carrier claims for items lost or damaged in transit. Returns are handled under your own returns policy and address (or a neutral Makr3D returns address if you prefer). Remakes and replacements are covered in our Returns & Disputes policy.

9. Acceptable use and suspension

You must not use Makr3D to manufacture prohibited content, to infringe third-party rights, or in breach of applicable law. We may refuse, hold, remove or suspend products, orders or accounts, and may act on complaints and takedown notices, as described in our Acceptable Use and IP & Takedown policies.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, Makr3D is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for matters arising from inaccurate files, details or rights warranties supplied by you. Final liability wording is subject to legal review before launch.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to sellers. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
