Returns & Disputes
How returns, delivery disputes and remakes work. Returns and delivery disputes are two separate things and are handled differently.
Status: Draft, under review ahead of launch. Not legal advice.
1. Returns (buyer sends an item back)
You set your own returns policy and return address. Your packing slip shows your brand and your chosen return address. If you prefer, you can use a neutral Makr3D returns address instead. Because you sell to your own customers under your own brand, buyer returns are managed under your policy.
2. Delivery disputes (lost or damaged in transit)
Makr3D is the shipper of record: we buy the shipping label and hold the tracking, so carrier claims for items lost or damaged in transit are handled by Makr3D, regardless of the return address shown on the slip. This keeps the carrier relationship and claim with us, where it can be managed effectively.
3. Remakes and replacements
Remakes are visible in your seller dashboard. Where a fault is caused by Makr3D production, we remake the item at our cost and, where appropriate, ship it tracked. Where the issue is caused by seller or customer error (for example an incorrect file, option or address), the seller pays for the remake. We log a remake reason against each order.
4. Who your buyer contacts
Your packing slip carries your brand and your support email, so your buyer contacts you. The slip also carries a discreet Makr3D reference ID for traceability if you need to escalate an order to us. Makr3D handles seller support and production issues; we do not normally correspond directly with your end customer.
5. Raising a remake or dispute
To raise a remake or a delivery dispute, use your seller dashboard or contact [email protected]. Please include the Makr3D reference ID and any relevant photos. Required QA or evidence photos may be requested for first-article runs, replacements and complaints.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights that apply between you and your customers. As the seller of record to your customer, you are responsible for meeting your consumer-law obligations to them.
