You do not have to design everything. The designs already exist.
Choose from a properly licensed model, a creator membership source, direct licensing or revenue-sharing, commissioned work or your own original designs. Then make the product and licence fit your store before you list it.
Creator memberships
Patreon, MyMiniFactory, Thangs or similar creator memberships may offer commercial-use access. Confirm the current licence, active-membership rule and fulfilment conditions before listing.
Direct or exclusive products
You can work through direct licensing or revenue-sharing with a designer, or use commissioned and original designs. Makr3D does not provide a catalogue of rights-cleared products.

Who actually prints your orders
Makr3D is run by Yorkshire3D, a UK 3D-printing company, from an owned Bambu Lab farm of around 100 printers in Huddersfield running 500+ plates a day. Every order gets a human quality check before it goes into production, so there is a named, accountable UK company (Yorkshire3D Limited, company no. 15466679) behind every parcel.

01Do I need to own a 3D printer?
No. Makr3D provides the production route, so you can sell eligible 3D-printed products without buying or operating printers yourself.
02Do I need to know how to create 3D models?
No. You can source properly commercially licensed models, work with a designer or use commissioned and original designs. You remain responsible for checking the rights.
03Where can commercially usable designs come from?
They may come from a direct licence, a creator membership such as Patreon, MyMiniFactory or Thangs, a revenue-sharing arrangement, a commission or your own original work. The exact licence controls.
04Can I sell a model just because it was free to download?
No. Free download access does not automatically grant commercial sale, manufacture, attribution, sales-channel or outsourced-fulfilment rights.
05Can Makr3D manufacture models covered by a Patreon commercial licence?
Possibly, where the current Patreon licence expressly permits your intended manufacture, sales channel and fulfilment arrangement. Check the source terms and keep evidence; Makr3D does not interpret the licence for you.
06Can I use my existing Shopify or Etsy store?
Yes. The native Shopify connector and native Etsy connector are live: paid orders sync into Makr3D automatically. CSV, manual entry and the public API remain available too.
07Do I need to hold stock?
No. With dropship fulfilment, Makr3D produces each order and sends it directly to your customer, so you do not need finished stock. You can also choose bulk or self-fulfilment, have a batch shipped to you and hold stock yourself.
08Who packs and dispatches the orders?
Makr3D prints, quality-checks, packs and dispatches the order from its Huddersfield UK hub, with the configured fulfilment route determining the destination.
09Can the packaging represent my brand?
Yes. Your logo, store name, support email and message can appear on the configured packing slip. No Makr3D or Yorkshire3D branding, flyers, coupons or marketing appears in the parcel.
10How do I find out what a product will cost?
Upload or choose an eligible product route and review the production-based quote. Once ready, the seller-facing Print option shows the priced specification before you list.
11What happens if a design is not suitable for reliable production?
The Makr3D team can hold it for review, ask for changes or reject the route rather than silently promising a result. Geometry, material, rights, safety and packing can all matter.
12Who is responsible for copyright and licensing?
You are responsible for the rights needed to manufacture, sell and advertise your products. Makr3D does not acquire ownership of seller files, may request evidence or reject questionable work, and provides no legal advice.
