Layer 01Sell on Shopify

3D-print fulfilment for your Shopify store.

Keep selling on your own Shopify store, under your own brand. When an order comes in, you route it to Makr3D and we print, QA-check, pack and ship it from our UK production hub in Huddersfield, with tracking and white-label dispatch. You never buy a printer, and your checkout and customer relationship stay entirely yours.

Makr3D is the fulfilment platform; Yorkshire3D runs the physical Bambu print farm. The native Shopify fulfilment app is live today. Map the products you want us to make and send their paid orders to the Makr3D location; tracking is written back when we ship. CSV, the public API and manual entry work too.

Your store, your brand

You run the Shopify store, set your own prices and own the customer. Makr3D is the production layer behind it, dispatching under your brand with no Makr3D or Yorkshire3D marks on the parcel.

UK production hub

500+ plates a day of capacity across hundreds of Bambu printers in Huddersfield. PLA and PETG are live at launch, and faithful 3MF mode honours your Bambu and Orca plates, orientation and colour intent.

No monthly fee at launch

There is no subscription to start. You pay a per-product fulfilment charge plus postage, with a £1 minimum fulfilment charge per order before postage. Your margin is the gap above that.

Layer 02How it works

From a Shopify order to a dispatched parcel

  • Sell on Shopify as usual. List your 3D-printed products, take payment at your own checkout and keep the buyer relationship. Nothing about your storefront changes.

  • Send the orders you want Makr3D to fulfil. Map each Shopify product to a priced Print option, then request fulfilment for its paid orders from Shopify. You can also import by CSV upload, through our public API and webhooks, or by adding them manually.

  • We print, QA and pack in the UK. Each order goes through a production review before printing, then is printed on our Bambu farm, quality-checked and packed for dispatch.

  • White-label dispatch with tracking. Parcels ship under your brand with a tracking number, and you can add white-label packaging so the unboxing stays yours.

See the full process on the how it works page, and the per-order numbers on pricing.

Layer 03How connected is Shopify?

Native Shopify fulfilment is live today.

Install the app, map each Shopify product to its Makr3D Print option, and send the paid orders you choose to the Makr3D fulfilment location. Those requests arrive in Makr3D, and tracking is written back to Shopify when we ship. CSV import, the public API and webhooks, and manual entry all work too.

If you also sell elsewhere, the same model works for selling on Etsy and through your own custom storefronts, with eBay and Amazon connections coming very soon; see every integration. One UK fulfilment hub sits behind every channel you run.

Layer 04Print on demand, but 3D

Shopify print on demand, for products with an extra dimension.

The print on demand shelf for Shopify is wall-to-wall flat merchandise: t-shirts, mugs, phone cases and posters. Makr3D brings the same no-stock model to a category those apps cannot reach: dimensional, 3D-printed products, made to order in the UK.

You keep your storefront and your checkout. List 3D-printed products such as planters, desk pieces, tabletop terrain, personalised gifts and spare parts, from your own designs or properly licensed models, and route the orders to Makr3D. The native Shopify fulfilment app receives the paid orders you send to its location and writes tracking back when we ship.

Printing to order means colour options and personalisation cost nothing to offer, with 40+ colours stocked at the farm. Production is powered by Yorkshire3D: 150,000+ orders shipped since 2019, rated 4.9/5. New to the category? Start with the 3D print on demand guide.

Layer 05Shopify FAQ

Selling 3D-printed products on Shopify, answered

Is there a Makr3D Shopify app?
Yes. The native Shopify fulfilment connector is live today: Makr3D appears as a fulfilment location, you map the products you want us to make, and the paid orders you send to Makr3D arrive for production. Tracking is written back to Shopify when we ship. We will only describe the app as listed in the Shopify App Store once it actually is.
What is print on demand on Shopify, and can it be 3D?
Print on demand means each product is made after the customer orders it, so you hold no stock. Most Shopify print on demand apps stop at flat goods such as apparel and mugs. Makr3D applies the same model to 3D-printed products: every order is printed from your file at our UK hub, QA-checked, then dispatched white-label under your brand.
How much does 3D-print fulfilment for Shopify cost?
There is no monthly fee at launch. You pay a per-product fulfilment charge plus postage, with a £1 minimum fulfilment charge per order before postage, and every product gets a real per-file quote before you list it. The pricing page shows worked examples, so your unit economics are known before the first sale.
Is print on demand profitable on Shopify?
That depends on your margin, which is why we price before you list. Quote the product from its file, set your retail price above the fulfilment cost plus postage, and the gap is yours. With no stock risk, a design that does not sell costs you a listing, not a warehouse.
Do I need inventory to sell 3D-printed products on Shopify?
No. Orders are printed after they are placed, so there is nothing to bulk-buy or store. You can trial new designs simply by listing them, and only pay fulfilment on products that actually sell.
