01Do I have to stop selling STL or 3MF files?
No. Makr3D adds a finished-product route alongside your existing memberships, downloads and commercial licences. Your current creator business stays yours.
02Who owns my designs?
You do. Makr3D receives only a limited licence to quote, review and manufacture the orders you route through the platform. Production files are not exposed to buyers or other sellers.
03Do I need a production-ready 3MF?
No. A Bambu or Orca 3MF gives the richest result because Faithful 3MF Mode preserves your production intent, but STL, STEP, STP, OBJ and ZIP uploads are also supported with validated production profiles and conversion where needed.
04Must I use a Makr3D storefront?
No. The hosted shop is optional. You can keep Etsy, Shopify or your own storefront and route orders through a connector, CSV, manual entry or the public API.
05Can another seller download my file?
No. If you choose to share a Product, an approved seller can list and sell the finished item for an agreed fixed per-unit share, but the underlying production file remains locked to you.
06What does the first review cost?
The founding creator review and file-based price are free. There is no card or monthly fee to see the production economics. A physical sample is an optional paid order through the normal fulfilment path.
