AMS stands for Automatic Material System, the multi-spool filament unit made by Bambu Lab. It holds several spools and switches between them during a print, which is how a Bambu printer produces multi-colour parts in a single job. On Makr3D, the colour mapping in your 3MF is treated as intent and matched to approved, stocked filament: up to four colours auto-quote instantly, and five-plus routes to the team for review.

STL and 3MF are the two file formats most 3D-printed products start from. An STL file describes only the surface geometry of a model, a mesh of triangles with no material, colour or print settings. A 3MF file is the newer, richer format: one package carrying the model together with the print plan itself, exactly as you set it up in a slicer such as Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer.
