What is Faithful 3MF Mode?

Faithful 3MF Mode is the Makr3D default for 3MF uploads: we reproduce the plan embedded in your Bambu or Orca project, including plates, orientation, supports, layer height, nozzle and colour mapping, rather than re-slicing a generic mesh. What is Recommended Mode?

Recommended Mode is the fallback for STL uploads, or for when you would rather we optimise. We slice your file against validated farm profiles tuned for our Bambu fleet, so beginners get a reliable result without learning to slice, while advanced users keep full 3MF control.

What is AMS in 3D printing?

AMS stands for Automatic Material System, the multi-spool filament unit made by Bambu Lab. It holds several spools and switches between them during a print, which is how a Bambu printer produces multi-colour parts in a single job. On Makr3D, the colour mapping in your 3MF is treated as intent and matched to approved, stocked filament: up to four colours auto-quote instantly, and five-plus routes to the team for review.

STL versus 3MF

Het verschil tussen een vorm en een plan.

STL and 3MF are the two file formats most 3D-printed products start from. An STL file describes only the surface geometry of a model, a mesh of triangles with no material, colour or print settings. A 3MF file is the newer, richer format: one package carrying the model together with the print plan itself, exactly as you set it up in a slicer such as Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer. Which one you upload decides who makes the printing decisions: you, or the platform printing it.

Een STL is geometrie

Een STL beschrijft alleen een oppervlak, niets meer. Wie het slice, bepaalt oriëntatie, ondersteuning, laaghoogte, kleur en profiel. Hetzelfde bestand kan dus heel anders worden geprint bij verschillende bureaus.

Dat is prima als u wilt dat wij optimaliseren. Wij slicen STL-bestanden tegen gevalideerde farmprofielen in Aanbevolen modus.

Een 3MF is het plan

Een Bambu- of Orca-3MF bevat alle beslissingen: platen, oriëntatie, ondersteuning, kleurtoewijzing, laaghoogte, nozzle en filament. Het is de slice die u al hebt ingesteld en goedgekeurd op uw eigen machine.

Makr3D's standaard Faithful 3MF Mode reproduceert dat plan, zodat de productie overeenkomt met uw intentie in plaats van een nieuwe interpretatie.

Kleurintentie

Multi-kleurtoewijzing wordt als intentie behandeld en gekoppeld aan goedgekeurd, op voorraad zijnd filament: tot vier kleuren worden direct automatisch berekend, bij vijf of meer wordt het doorgestuurd naar het team voor beoordeling.

Nozzle en filament

Nozzlekeuze en filamenttoewijzing bepalen de prijsopgave en verzendtijd, inclusief de +1 werkdag voor 0,2mm / 0,6mm of PETG.

Trouw, maar nooit blind

Trouw betekent niet ongecontroleerd. Print Intelligence, onze AI-preproductie-inspecteur, analyseert uw werkelijke geometrie, overhangen en slice-instellingen om printrisico's te signaleren. Vervolgens geeft een teamlid goedkeuring voordat de productie start. Het is een veiligheidscontrole, geen verlaging van uw instellingen; wij signaleren problemen en werken met u samen in plaats van stilletjes opnieuw te slicen.

Terugval op Aanbevolen modus

Geen goede 3MF, of wilt u liever dat wij optimaliseren? In de Aanbevolen modus slicen wij uw STL tegen gevalideerde farmprofielen die zijn afgestemd op de Bambu-vloot. Beginners krijgen een betrouwbaar resultaat zonder te leren slicen, terwijl gevorderde gebruikers de volledige 3MF-controle behouden.
