How much does 3D printing cost?

If you print at home, most of the cost is not the filament: it is the printer itself, spares, failed plates and your hours. If you use a fulfilment service like Makr3D, all of that folds into one per-order price. Each file is quoted individually: dropship fulfilment starts from a £1 minimum charge per order and rises with the work in the part, all before postage, which is added separately from carrier rate tables.
